Privacy policy

This page explains what information promptplayhq.com collects, why, and who handles it. PromptPlay is a brand of KKV Labs LLC, the business responsible for this site.

Who we are

PromptPlay is a brand of KKV Labs LLC, a US company at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713. When this page says "we" or "us", it means KKV Labs LLC. You can reach us about privacy at hi@promptplayhq.com.

What we collect

  • The free clip form. When you ask for a free clip, you give us your episode link, your email address and your phone number. The form also sends the address of the page you were on and the page that sent you to our site, if your browser shares it.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to hi@promptplayhq.com, we get your email address and whatever you put in the message.
  • Calls you book. Our "Book a call" links open Calendly. Calendly shares with us the details you type when you book, such as your name and email.
  • How people use the site. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages people visit and how they use them. These tools collect things like the pages you view, clicks, scrolling, the device and browser you use, and roughly where you are. Clarity can also record how a visit looks on screen, such as mouse movement and taps.
  • Server logs. Our host keeps basic logs of requests to the site, such as your IP address, the page asked for and the time.

Why we use it

  • To make your free clip and send it to you.
  • To reply to you and to reach you when your clip is ready.
  • To hold the calls you book with us.
  • To see which pages help people and fix the ones that do not.
  • To keep the site running and safe.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who handles it for us

We use a few outside services to run this site. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job.

  • Vercel hosts the site. Our form handler runs on Vercel and writes each free clip request to a short-lived server log, so a request is not lost if the email fails.
  • Resend sends the free clip request from our site to our inbox by email.
  • FormSubmit is a backup. If our own email step does not go through, your browser sends the same form details to our inbox through FormSubmit instead.
  • Google Analytics (Google) measures visits and tells us when someone opens or sends the free clip form.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) shows us how visitors use our pages, including screen recordings of visits and heatmaps.
  • Google Fonts (Google) supplies the font on our pages. Your browser loads it from Google, so Google sees your IP address.
  • Calendly handles bookings when you choose to book a call. What you type there is covered by Calendly's own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep form requests and emails for as long as we need them to work with you, or until you ask us to delete them. Our host keeps its server logs only for a short time. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity keep their data for the time set in each tool, and then delete it.

Cookies

Our own code does not set cookies and does not use your browser's storage. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity do set cookies, so they can tell one visit from the next.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also use a content blocker, or Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works with cookies blocked, and the free clip form still sends.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to fix it, or to delete it. Email hi@promptplayhq.com from the address you used with us and tell us what you want. We will reply by email.

Changes to this page

If we change how we use information, we will update this page and the date below.
